Fürstenberg brewery is situated in the town of Donaueschingen in the Black Forest, next to the source of the Danube.
Founded in 1283, the brewery was owned by the Royal Fürstenberg family until 2004 and is now owned by Paulaner.
Named Best Brewery in Germany at both the 2009 and 2010 prestigious DLG Competition (German Agricultural Society) where it gained a record 15 Gold medals.

Deep gold lager with a nose of sweet malts and light grassy hops. There are hints of fruit and sweet nutty flavours in a big malty body and crisp, dry finish.
Pale yellow lager with a hoppy and slightly fruity nose. The aroma has notes of peppery hops and touches of barley sugar. The palate is hoppy with a good body for an alcohol free beer – leading to a crisp, clean finish
Clear golden lager with a floral, hoppy nose with citrus orange and grainy notes. The taste is crisp, fresh with some dry malt notes and an undercurrent of spicy hops leading to a dry, slightly bitter finish. A good honest German Pilsner Lager.
